About
Gilmar Dias
UX/UI designer and art director · Brasília, Brazil
I've been a designer for over 15 years. I started as an art director at an agency, creating campaigns and identities for local brands, and kept broadening my range: graphic design, video, 2D and 3D animation, interfaces.
For almost five years I led the design team at the communications office of DNIT, Brazil's federal transport infrastructure agency, through Accenture: visual identity, campaigns, video, animation and photography for a nationwide public institution. I then coordinated multimedia production for the communications office of Brazil's Ministry of Infrastructure, through FSB Comunicação.
Today I bring the two sides of my career together: over 15 years of graphic design and art direction, and the experience thinking of UX, where I work as a senior designer. That combination is what I bring to every project: an identity or interface that tells a clear story and works for the people who'll use it — and, when the project calls for it, in video and motion design too.
